Hilco Transport, Inc. upholds strict hiring guidelines in selecting and recruiting its workforce. Every potential employee’s qualifications and work history are scrutinized to ensure only the most qualified applicants are selected. Hilco Transport maintains strict safety and training guidelines as well as regulatory compliance for all of our employees.
Each employee receives new hire orientation to the company’s safety policies and operational procedures. Drivers are required to complete product specific on-the-job training and must be evaluated and approved prior to releasing to duty. Annual comprehensive recurrent training is provided to ensure the safety and protection of our employees as well as our environment. In addition, commitment to safety is enhanced by monthly safety meetings, weekly “toolbox” meetings and daily enforcement of regulatory compliance.
With such a diverse offering of services for our customers, our training has evolved with these demands as well. Curriculum is developed and conducted in-house to ensure regulatory compliance, customization and consistency.
